Crook is a modern day, progressive Christian and his book is slanted that way. He sounds like he is a member of the Christian Universalism movement and bases very little on God's actual words or commands. There are better books on the ethics that would be more inline with both God and His one and only son.

Gave it 5 stars so far. I have only read up to chapter 6, and it has been amazing. Chapter 5 is a great chapter.
