Good and bad

The story is charming and a light, easy read. Good for relaxing, so I'll likely read the sequels. But the editing is annoying, with poor punctuation (ridiculous use of apostrophes), mediocre grammar, and some lousy spelling thrown in. Chip and Dales? Really? Sounds more like chipmunks than guys who do strip dancing. I'm just saying.....

Long winded

The storyline is just.... well its dumb. Chase gives Lauren 100 grand and marries her after her fathers death so she can pay off his debt. No one knows that they married or where the money came from. Seven years later he moves back. Lauren is a control freak and Chase is a pushy idiot. I guess even the author didnt feel that there was enough to hold the reader so some suspense is thrown in with someone trying to kill Lauren. Which was just stupid.
But more than anything I felt the story was drug out. I found myself skipping whole pages because it was filled with crap.
I gave the book two stars because there are some good parts in the book. However they do not outweigh the bad.

Lauren Loves the Ranch

I enjoy the bit of a twist to the story line that J. Sanders gives. The part I do not like as much are the explicit love scenes. I prefer intimate scenes written with more finesse.
